context: eat me out is a chapbook of poetry created in collaboration with the unnamed zine project, as well as a song and music video. developed and filmed during a residency at the skowhegan school of painting and sculpture, and first performed and screened at amra odbhuth, kolkata, the project is an exploration of what it means to molt, to shed old skins to step into new ones, to be eaten out, to be eaten from the inside out, to rage and to joy, especially as a trans femme dyke. it is a collection of musings on everything from the weight of emotional labor, to the politics of desire, to spines, saris, spiders, and shores.
